The Agent Manager utility discovers VigilEnt Security Agent for Unix agents on remote hosts and reports agent-related information, including the following:

  • Version numbers
  • Host names
  • Operating system types
  • Communication status
  • Processes

You can scan all hosts or selected hosts. Scanning updates the agent summary table.

To scan all hosts listed in the agent summary table, from the Agent Manager menu, click Hosts > ScanAll Hosts.

To scan selected hosts listed in the agent summary table, do the following:

  1. In the Agent Summary table, select the hosts that you want to scan.
  2. From the Agent Manager menu, click Hosts > Scan Selected Hosts.
