symptom
Unable to delete a Profile and Password Management template.

symptom
Error: "User profiles assigned to template.  Template not deleted."

cause
The Profile that was assigned to the template was deleted outside the PPM product so it was not removed from the list.

fix

To resolve this error, please refer to the following:

  1. Query file ZPPF75 in library PSSECURE.
  2. Locate the profile associated with the template to be deleted.
  3. If the profile no longer exists, delete it from the file using a file editor of your choice.
  4. Delete the template from PPM.
