fix

To resolve this issue, refer to the following steps:

  1. From a Command Line, type ADDLIBLE PSCOMMON , press Enter.
  2. Turn cache off by issuing the following command:
    • Call PSCOMMMON/NW0005E ?*OFF?
  3. Rename the damaged object by issuing the following command:
    • RNMOBJ PSCOMMON/NW0005X2 *USRIDX NW0005X2D
  4. If the rename doesn't work, delete the user index by issuing the following command:
    • DLTUSRIDX PSCOMMON/NW0005X2
  5. Create and initialize the cache by issuing the following command:
    • CALL PSCOMMON/NW0005E ?1000?  (this will recreate the object)
  6. Turn cache back on by issuing the following command:
    • CALL PSCOMMON/NW0005E ?*ON?

Note:  You may want to wait until you can cycle servers (using RRM Menu Option 30 - Manage RRM, Option 3  Cycle Remote Servers) or IPL.  Any currently running prestart jobs and any recycled prestart jobs will still be pointing to the damaged cache. If possible, cycle servers or end any jobs that have a prestart job wait status before turning cache back on.
