Resolution

goal
How do I specify the OU (distinguished form) when using the AddUserWin2k.xls spreadsheet in the SDK?

fact
Directory and Resource Administrator 6.x

fact
Directory and Resource Administrator 7.0

fix

The OU (distinguished form) column, located on the Win2K Data worksheet, in the AddUserWin2k.xls spreasheet, should contain the name of the OU in which the user account is to be created.  The name of the OU must be enterend without the trailing domain name in the following format:

Example:

"ou=Pittsburgh,ou=Engineering"

And not as follows:

"ou=Pittsburgh,ou=Engineering,dc=yourDomain,dc=com"

This issue is resolved in Directory and Resource Administrator 7.0 SP1 and later.
