symptom
Proxy reports are not returning expected results.

cause
Running some reports and actions by proxy may not return expected results if the host and the remote computers are running on different Windows platforms. 

fix

It is recommended that the VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows host computer run on the same Windows platform as the remote (or target) computers.

The following reports and actions may not run properly if the host and remote computers are running on different Windows platforms:

• File Permission List
• Permissions to Startup Files
• Network File Share Permission
• Repair Directory Access
• File Share at Root with Non-Admin Access
• Change Share Permissions
• Set NT File/Directory Permission
• Set Windows 2000 File/Directory Permission
