A data access error occurs after clicking the Alerts node.
symptom
Error: 'Data access error occurred 3081 - execute permission denied on sp_getpendingrequest'.
cause
The cause of this error is due to a version mismatch on the remote GUI machine and the VigilEnt Security Manager (VSM) server. The VSM server is running under Service Pack 2 and the remote GUI is not.
fix
When applying VigilEnt Security Manager (VSM) service packs, the service pack must be installed not only on the VSM server but all remote GUI machines.
