Situation

How do I manage 'Hide from address book' and 'Custom attributes' mailbox properties using the Web Console?

Resolution

The 'Hide from address book' and 'Custom attributes' Exchange 2000 Mailbox properties are not available to be managed via the Web Console in DRA 7.5 and earlier versions. In order to manage these fields, the Assistant Admin must use the 'Account and Resource Management' or the 'Delegation and Configuration Management' console. The Web Console can also be customized to expose these fields.

Beginning in DRA 8.0, the ability to manage Exchange Advanced Options and Exchange Custom Attributes was added to the Web Console. However, these attribute fields can only be managed by members of DRA Admins and they cannot be delegated out to other Assistant Admins.

An Enhancement Request has been opened with Development to include this functionality in a future version of Directory and Resource Administrator.
