Situation

License violation message occurs when running Group Policy Guardian reports, even though the license is valid.

Resolution

To resolve this issue the license file must be reloaded. To reload the license file perform the following steps:

  1. Launch the Group Policy Guardian Console.
  2. Right-click the Licensing node, and then click Licensing.
  3. Click Update, and then select the license key file.
  4. Click OK.


Cause

Under certain installation scenarios such as a distributed installation where the Group Policy Guardian (GPG) database is installed separately from the GPG Server and Reporting components, a license error may appear.
