Situation

Full MSMQ queues are on the Group Policy Guardian Server and Collector computers.

GPO change events are missing.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:

  1. Remove the Collector from the Console.

  2. Uninstall the Collector.

  3. Run the setup program from the root folder of the installation kit.

  4. Click GPG Collector Setup on the Additional Setup tab to install the Collector using the correct GPG Server name.

  5. Assign the domain controllers to the valid Collector.


Cause

The typical cause is an invalid Group Policy Guardian (GPG) Collector configuration. Currently, the setup program allows you to enter an invalid or nonexistent host name. You must enter the correct GPG Server host name during the GPG Collector setup.
