Other Language characters are not showing up in the GPO reports produced by GPA.

cause
The cause of this issue is that Crystal Reports does not handle other language characters when generating reports.

fix

The other language characters are not lost and are contained in the Repository or in Active Directory; however, the reporting portion of NetIQ GPA 3.0 will not show these other language characters.  NetIQ GPA 3.0 uses Crystal Reporting for the report generation.  GPA 4.0 uses XML to generate the reports.    

 

note

This issue is resolved in NetIQ GPA 4.0 and will report the other language characters correctly. In addition, NetIQ GPA 4.0 will support double byte characters.
