symptom
Only the domain server appears when clicking the server drop-down arrow in User Password Self-Service.

symptom
Unix machines do not appear in the server drop-down arrow.

cause
VigilEnt User Manager by default will on show machines within a specified domain.

fix

To see the machines that you have defined in VigilEnt Security Manager, edit app.properties located in the $INSTALL_DIR\config directory.

  1. Access the following directory:

    $INSTALL_DIR\config

  2. Locate the following file:

    app.properties

  3. Right click the file and select the Open with option.

  4. When the Open with dialog box opens, select Notepad.

  5. Search for the following entry:

    domainList.domainlistdisplay = false

  6. Change the 'true' to 'false'.

  7. Save and close the file.
