VigilEnt Password Manager (VPM) uses the following ports:

  • Port 443 - This is the port that the VPM web-based interface listens on for web browser connections by default.  This port number may be changed at installation, to avoid listening conflicts if Internet Information Services (IIS) exists on the same machine as VPM. 
  • Port 1701 - This port is used for communication from VigilEnt Security Server (VSS) to VPM.
  • Port 1621 - This port is used for communication from VPM to VSS.
  • Port 1433 - This port is used for communication between VPM and the VigilEnt database hosted on Microsoft SQL Server.
