In order to confirm the version of MDAC that is installed on the VigilEnt Database host computer, perform the following steps:

  1. Perform a search on the VigilEnt Database host computer for the file oledb32.dll.  This file is typically located under the folder \Program Files\Common Files\System\Ole DB.
  2. In Explorer or the search results pane, right click on the file and select Properties.
  3. Click the Version tab and note the MDAC version by looking under File version.
