To configure the Microsoft SQL database to accept mixed mode authentication refer to the following steps:
- Launch Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager.
- Right-click the server node where the VigilEnt database is installed, and select Properties.
- Click the Security tab.
- Select SQL server and Windows authentication.
The database is now configured to accept mixed mode authentication.
