To configure the Microsoft SQL database to accept mixed mode authentication refer to the following steps:

  1. Launch Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager.
  2. Right-click the server node where the VigilEnt database is installed, and select Properties.
  3. Click the Security tab.
  4. Select SQL server and Windows  authentication.

The database is now configured to accept mixed mode authentication.
