To point VigilEnt Security Manager (VSM) to a different Database:

  1. Open the VigilEnt Security Manager Configuration Utility.
  2. Under the Database tab, enter the name of the SQL server where the database is installed in the blank for Database URL. (i.e. jdbc:inetdae7:localhost:1433?database=vigilent)
  3. Change localhost to the name of the SQL Server.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. Click OK to close the configuration utility.

Note: The VigilEnt database must be installed on a SQL server.
