symptom
Error occurs when running the 'File/Directory Permissions' report against a Microsoft Windows machine.

cause
This is a known issue that results when the VigilEnt Security Manager Database Upgrade is run during the VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows 3.0 SR-2 installation. The Database Upgrade installation upgrades the VigilEnt Security Manager database to VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows 3.1 commands and parameters, which will result in this error when attempting to run this report.

Apply the VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows 3.0 Service Pack 3 (VSA-Win 3.0 SP3), which can be downloaded from the following link:
