Execute the following steps below to have VigilEnt Security Manager (VSM) create an error.log file:
- Close the VSM GUI if it is currently open.
- Using Notepad or any other text editor, edit the file,
fsclient.ini
, found in\Program Files\PentaSafe\VigilEnt
. - Under the Preferences section, change Silent Run to zero (0) and save the file.
- Log in to the VSM console and reproduce the issue. This will create the file,
error.log
, in the\Program Files\PentaSafe\VigilEnt folder
.
