fix
The VigilEnt Security Manager GUI never communicates directly with VigilEnt agents; communication is always brokered through VigilEnt Core Services. The current user of the VigilEnt Security Manager GUI must authenticate to VigilEnt Core Services. Communication between VigilEnt Core Services and VigilEnt agents are controlled via ACLs. This is very similar to TCP Wrappers under Unix, e.g. hosts.deny and hosts.allow. VigilEnt Core Services must also authenticate to the database.
