Error returned running a report against an iSeries server in VigilEnt Security Manager.

cause

Running an AS/400 report in VigilEnt Security Manager (VSM) that uses the abbreviated date formats (PRVMS, PRVWK etc.), for example, "Invalid Signons" with the parameters PRVWK to CURR or PRVDY to CURR, will return "No data met the report criteria".  If the same report is run from the green screen using PRVWK to CURR the report returns correct data.

fix

This issue has been resolved in the following PTF's, which can be downloaded from the following link:  https://www.netiq.com/support/vsa/default.asp

• For version 5.3/6.3 PTF 1C00087 resolves this issue.  (In the Special Instructions/Notes section of the cover letter, the CUM level should read 1X01355 rather than 1X02098). 
• For version 5.4/7.0 PTF 1C01551 resolves this issue.   

Run the executable on the machine where the VSM database is installed.  This is outlined in the cover letter.
