Error: 'Unable to connect to core services. Connection is forcefully rejected.'
Error logging in to the VigilEnt Security Manager GUI.
VigilEnt Core Services service not running. The IP address for Core Services in the VigilEnt Security Manager Options > Settings is no longer valid or is incorrect.
The following steps outline how to verify and start the VigilEnt Core Services:
- Click Start | Programs | Administration Tools | Services.
- Once the Services Applet starts, scroll down and verify that 'VigilEnt Core Services' service shows a status of Started.
- If the service is not running, right-click the service and select Start from the pop-up menu. This will start up the VigilEnt Core Services service and allow users to connect using the VigilEnt Security Manager (VSM) GUI.
To correct or confirm the IP address for Core Services in VigilEnt Security Manager, click Options | Settings and confirm/correct the IP address for Core Services.
