symptom

Unable to edit hostnames with an underscore in VigilEnt Agent for Webservers.



cause

The root cause is due to defective regular expressions in an input validation routine.



fix
The workaround is to edit the startup.properties and remove the underscore. This is resolved in VigilEnt Security Agent for WebServers  3.0.1.
