How do I allow only certain servers or machines access to the VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows?

VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows 3.0

  1. Open the "HostAllow.reg" file in notepad through Windows Explorer.
  2. Edit the allow field in the file according to the instructions in the .reg file.

VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows 3.1 and above

  1. Go to Start|Run and type Regedit.
  2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE|Software|Pentasafe|VSANT
  3. Open the VSANT_Allow key and enter the IP address of the Core Services Machine(s) you intend to allow to access VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows.
  4. Stop and Restart the VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows Service in Services.
