Email from VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows Detect to Lotus Notes is not being received.

cause
The FROM address has not been set in the VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows Detect interface.

fix

A full email address must be set as the FROM address for Detect to send alerts to Lotus notes.

  1. Go to Config File|Set SMTP Relay Host|Set From Address
  2. Enter a fully qualified email address and select OK.
  3. The SMTP relay host must be set to a fully resolved machine name or IP address.
