symptom
Error: 'Error code 1909' is received when running reports against VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows NT/2000.

cause
VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows Service is not started with a domain administrator account.

fix

To change the Log On As account for the VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows Service: 

1. If using Windows NT, Click Start|Settings|Control Panel|Services. 
   
   Ifusing Windows 2000, Click Start|Settings|Control Panel|Administrative Tools|Services.


2. Right-click VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows Service.
3. Select Properties.
4. Select Log On As.
5. Change the account to the domain administrator account.
6. Right-click VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows Service and select Stop.
7. Right-click VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows Service and select Start.
