Java Virtual Machine (JVM) must be installed for the VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows Detect GUI only. All other component installations of detect do not require this.  

To install Java Virtual Machine, follow these steps:

  1. Insert the VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows CD and view it through Microsoft Windows Explorer, on the computer where the VigilEnt Security Agent for Windows Detect is to be installed.

  2. Go to the third party\JVM folder, and run the file, msjavx86.exe.

  3. Reboot the machine following the JVM installation.
