fix

The encryption files must be exported. The *.psh file export is different than the psHostNames file (which is the Utility Console's active encryption file). Exporting the *.psh file unbinds the Utility Console pass phrase from the agent host and encryption information, thus letting imported host names and encryption information on another Utility Console (and only after the secret pass phrase to start the Utility Console and access the export mechanism has been typed). The *.psh export and import mechanisms are located in the Edit Hosts dialog box.

To export, follow these steps:

  1. To export a *.psh file, make sure the configuration is good (all cells in the summary table are green) on the exporting console.

  2. Select Hosts, Edit Hosts to display the Edit/View List of Hosts to Analyze dialog.

  3. Select the hosts to export, and click Export Selected Hosts.

  4. Navigate to a protected directory, name the file, and click OK.

To import, follow these steps:

  1. Click Import Host in the Edit/View List of Hosts to Analyze dialog box.

  2. Navigate to the *.psh file and click OK.

  3. Click Save in the Edit/View List of Hosts dialog box.
