1. Open a DOS window and CD to Program Files | Pentasafe | VSAN |Nwagent.
2. Type UP and press Enter.
3. The "Up" and "Listening On Port 4000" message will appear.
4. Minimize the DOS window BUT DO NOT CLOSE IT (closing the window will stop the service).
5. The DOS window is the active connection and communication to Vigilent Security Manager Console.
