Unable to access Secure Menuing System

cause
The group job control in Secure Menuing System is set to "No" instead of "Yes".

fix

To grant access to the Secure Menuing System application change the group job control value to "Yes".   Refer to the following steps to change the value:

  1. At a command line type: WRKDTAARA and press F4 to prompt.
  2. Indicate MSDEFAULT in the 'Data Area' field.
  3. Indicate PSCOMMON in the 'Library' field, press Enter. 
  4. Type  2=Change  next to the data area MSDEFAULT.
  5. Indicate *Yes in the 'New Value' field, press Enter.
