Some files and/or customizations are missing after upgrading to either PSSecure 6.3 or 7.0.

To retrieve files lost during an upgrade to VigilEnt Security Agent for AS/400 5.3/6.3 or VigilEnt Security Agent for iSeries 5.4/7.0, apply the following PTF's:

1. After upgrading from 5.2/6.2 to 5.3/6.3, apply PTFs 1C00100 and 1S00108.

2. After upgrading from 6.3/6.3 to 5.4/7.0, apply PTFs 1C01681 and 1S01517, or CUM PTF 1X03080.

To obtain the listed individual PTF's, contact NetIQ Technical Support at vigilent-support@netiq.com or by downloading from the following link:

Caution! Read the instructions carefully as they must be applied before any PS*TEMP* files that are created during the upgrade. These files contain the information that will be retrieved.

If the upgrade from 5.3/6.3 is done using this, or a subsequent Service Pack, the issue of lost files will not be encountered.
