symptom
The System Auditing and Reporting Weak Passwords report indicates that all passwords are weak.
cause
If the iSeries product is licensed for PassWord Manager but it is not installed all passwords to show up as weak. This can happen during the time that the products are licensed by a temporary license which allows use of all products but does not distinguish which are actually installed. Once the product is permanently licensed, the issue resolves itself.
fix
Permanently license the PassWord Manager product component. This issue is resolved in CUM PTF 01227-1 for version 5.3. The CUM PTF can be requested by e-mail to support-houston@netiq.com.
