For reports that use filters, the DEFAULT filter is used. If there is a need to change filtering, it must be done on the AS/400 via the System Auditing and Reporting report submittal window using F9.

Remember that DEFAULT filters can be reset to their originally shipped state by future upgrades or PTFs, so keeping a record of your changes is recommended.
