fix
The Example below is done from a UNIX box:
- Install the netiQ Exit Programs (Option 6 from the RRM Main Menu).
- Cycle the *FILE and *DATABASE server and end QServer subsystem (Option 8 from the RRM Main Menu). NOTE: subsystem QUSRWRK needs to be cycled if OS if V5R1.
- Connect to the AS/400 from the Unix machine.
- While the Unix machine is still connected, type the following command on an AS/400 Command Line: WRKACTJOB SBS(QSERVER) and press Enter.
- Locate the QZDASOINIT jobs in this subsystem (there will likely be more than one).
- Start with the first job in the list and select Option 5 to Display the Job.
- Select Option 10 to display the joblog for that job.
- At the top of the job log there should be a message that indicates what User profile is being serviced by that particular job. Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you locate the prestart job that is servicing the user profile that is used to connect to the AS/400 from the Unix machine.
- Once you have located the proper prestart job take note of the Job Name, Job User, and Job Number.
- Back out of the Display job screen to the screen that is displaying the list of QZDASOINIT jobs.
- Select Option 2 TRONG>next to the job identified in Step 8 and on the command line type: LOG(4 00 *SECLVL) LOGCLPGM(*YES) and press Enter.
- Use the DSPJOBLOG command and press F4 to prompt this command. Fill in the Job Name, Job User and Job Number from Step 9, change the OUTPUT parameter to *PRINT, and press Enter. This will generate a joblog in a spooled file format for this job on your system.
- Use the WRKSPLF command to locate the QPJOBLOG spooled file created in Step 12.
- Print this spooled file or download it to a PC in text format and forward it to NetiQ Technical Support at support-houston@netiq.com.
