Error: 'An unexpected program error has occurred' when exiting the Work with Exit Points ( Option 8 ) screen.
cause
There is a non VigilEnt iSeries validity checking program (VCP) installed on the CHGNETA command which restricts anyone other than QSECOFR from executing the command. The VigilEnt iSeries software needs to be able to change the network attributes 'Client request access' (PCSACC) and 'DDM request access' or 'DDM/DRDA request access' (DDMACC) when using the 'Work With Exit Points' option.
fix
A work around for this issue is to add the user profile ( receiving the error) to the validity checking program to have the authority to use the CHGNETA command.
