fix
Once the Remote Request Management (RRM) User Group has been created (it will look similar to :XXXX), add a new Secured RRM entry similar to the example below (substitute the specific library involved).
If an entry has been "Collected" for an individual accessing the library in question, complete the following steps:
- Use Option 3=Create Secured.
- Edit the "User" field to be the RRM User Group name.
- Edit Network, if desired (*ALL or perhaps a mask or generic entry).
- Make Operation *ALL, Action *PASS, enabled "Y".
- If there are "Collected Objects", use '1=Set as Obj. Path' to select all or those that you wish to make part of the Secured Entry.
Sample from the RRM Menu:
- Option 1 Work With Secured Entries, press Enter.
- Press F6=Add
- Enter values below in fields noted
User . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :ABCD
Network . . . . . . . . . . . . *ALL
Operation . . . . . . . . . . . *ALL - Press F20=Edit Object
and type the following in the Edit Object screen:
/QSYS.LIB/XXXXDTA.LIB/*.* (must be all capitalized) - Press Enter to confirm which will create the "Path" in the Secured entry,
- Enter the following to finish the Secured Entry:
Action . . . . . . . . . . . . . *PASS
Swap Profile . . . . . . . . . .
Enabled Status . . . . . . . . . Y
