fix
Approved Entries are available but must be migrated, and not all settings migrate. Remote Request Management (RRM) information is not automatically migrated to the new (PSS 7.0) RRM.

PSS 7.0 RRM's features contain a number of major changes and a migration tool was created to aid in the upgrade of RRM from 6.3 to 7.0. This migration tool (PSRRMMGN command) allows all previous RRM configuration settings and rules (Approved Entries) to be converted/migrated to the new RRM 7.0. However, no Collected Entries or journaled data (used for RRM reporting) can be migrated. Thus, it is important to move any Collected Entries you wish to keep to Approved Entries and run all desired RRM reports prior to upgrading to PSS 7.0.

note
RRM 7.0 adds new capabilities, significantly improves RRM's performance, provides greater control over security settings/rules, and provides many new RRM reports. However, for customers familiar with PSS 6.3 and previous versions of RRM, there is a learning curve required to be an expert in utilizing the new features. A good understanding of how RRM makes a decision based on the Secured Entries (similar to the old Approved Entries) and other RRM rules is necessary to administrate RRM security.
