fix
Currently, the only 'clean-up' task for Remote Request Management (RRM) 7.0 is to run the 'Collected Entries' purge job.
From the command line, follow these steps:
- Type
PSMENU
. - Select Option 2 PSSecure.
- Select Option 3 Remote Request Management.
- Select Option 30 Manage RRM.
- Select Option 4 Delete Collected Entries.
The command to simulate the above menu path (PSCOMMON/PSRRMDLTC
) can be run on an as needed basis or scheduled to run on a regular basis.
Also, managing the journals for RRM is recommended. These journals (PSCOMMON/PSJRN01
and PSCOMMON/PSJRN02
or QAUDJRN
depending upon the RRM default settings) automatically create receivers to ensure that they are saved offline and removed as appropriate. The frequency for this depends on your environment.
