fact
Remote Request Management (RRM)

symptom
Remote Request Management (RRM) Collected Entries are not being cleaned out according to 'Days Collected Retained' value.

symptom
Remote Request Management (RRM)  'Days Collected Retained' value is set to 14 in the RRM Defaults screen, but old records still exist in Collected Entries.

fix

Collected entries that are older than the 'Days Collected Retained 'value (in the RRM Defaults screen) are deleted only when the job to delete them is run.

From the RRM Main Menu, complete the following steps:

  1. Select Option 30 - Manage RRM.
  2. Select Option 4 - Delete Collected Entries.
  3. Set Number of Days to Retain to *DFT and run it either interactively or in batch.

Note:  Be aware that this process will end and restart the ZPSSMON subsystem, therefore no RRM Collection will be done while the process is running.  Ideally, it should be run during slow times.  The 'Number of Days to Retain' can also be entered manually if a value different from the Default is desired.
