In PSDetect, the file, PSM070P, is the Alert log. The size of the file can be decreased by ending the monitors, and then on a AS/400 command line type CLRPFM PSDetect/PSM070P.

Entries from the file can also be cleared using the product by taking the following options:

  1. Option 3 PSDetect.

  2. Option 1 Work With Alert Log.

  3. Select F16=Purge

  4. In the 'Alerts to Purge' field, indicate the type of entries desired to be purged.
