Resolution

goal
How do I get a report of User Profiles that shows projected Password Expiration Date?

fact
VigilEnt Security Agent for iSeries

symptom
The expiration date in the 'Report of Users' does not match the system value, QPWDEXPITV.

fix

The Profile and Password Management (PPM), 'Report of Users', uses a default value within PPM to calculate the expiration date. The following steps indicate how to change the interval.

From the PSSecure menu, follow these steps:

  1. Select Option 5 PS User-Prompted Passwords Menu.

  2. Select Option 3 - Defaults For User Prompted Psswrds.

  3. Change "Number of days for password prompt" to match the System Value (or the value desired).
