Object Authority Management templates were lost in 5.4/7.0 upgrade.

cause

This is a known issue that was addressed by PTF 1S01515. However, if the backup library created during the upgrade was not named PSSTEMP, the programs associated with the templates were not retrieved (this library may have been named PSSTEMP001 or 002).

fix

The templates can be retrieved by following these steps:

  1. Locate file, PSSECURE/AT01P, which contains the names of the templates in the second field labeled A01.

  2. Make note of all of the template names.

  3. Go to the most recent version of library, PSSTEMP###, and find the programs that have the matching names to the templates.

  4. Copy them from PSSTEMP### to PSSECURE. Be sure the "Owner" of the programs is PSOBJOWNS once they are copied back to PSSECURE.
