To produce the AS/400 joblog, follow these steps:

  1. When in the VigilEnt AS/400 product, at a command line type, PSECONFIG, and change Logging Level to 9.

  2. End Subsystem, ZPSE, by typing ENDSBS ZPSE on a command line.

Change the message logging on PSEAGENTD, PSEAGENT, and PSEREPORT job descriptions, which are found in PSCOMMON:

    1. At a command line, type CHGJOBD, and press F4.

    2. Type the job name (example, PSEAGENTD) and press Enter.

    3. Press F10 and page down one time.

    4. Change Level to 4.

    5. Change Severity to 00.

    6. Change Text to *SECLVL.

    7. Change Log CL program commands to *YES. (Repeat these steps for PSEAGENT and PSEREPORT.)

  3. Start subsystem, ZPSE, by typing, STRSBS ZPSE.

  4. Run the reports. The joblog can be found under PSOBJOWN or PSOBJOWNS spool files.

  5. After you have a job log, go into PSECONFIG and change Logging Level from 9 back to 0.

  6. End subsystem, ZPSE.

  7. Change the Message Logging on PSEAGENTD, PSEAGENT, and PSEREPORT back to the original values by following the steps used above (a-g).

  8. Finally, start subsystem, ZPSE.
