The 'Actions against User Profiles' on my AS/400 via VigilEnt Security Manager are not working. Â
The transaction seems to be cut off or not parsed correctly.
This issue relates to the CCSID on the PSOBJOWNS user profile which is *SYSVAL. This causes some characters to be translated incorrectly.
Change the profile's CCSID to 65535 (no translation).Â Use the following command to accomplish this:Â Â Â
CHGUSRPRF USRPRF(PSOBJOWNS) CCSID(65535)
This issue will be resolved in the future by a PTF that will make this change permanent for all of the VigilEnt user profiles. Meanwhile, international customers can change this value manually if translation problems are encountered. The profiles that might be affected by this problem are: PSD01, PSOBJOWN, PSOBJO.
