Remote Request Management (RRM)

Note: This Service Pack has been superceded.  Contact Technical Support for the most current Service Pack. 

  1. Before the restart of subsystems/modules section (Step 11, page 4 of instructions), access Remote Request Management (RRM), Option 30 Manage RRM and take Option 3 Cycle Remote Servers.

  2. Indicate *FILE and *DATABASE   for Application Server, and press Enter.

  3. Additional fields are presented.

  4. For "Allow ending subsystems" fill in QSERVER, and press Enter. This step was inadvertently left out of the instructions and will be added.

  5. Previous to CUM 02098, the additional fields did not display with the *ALL option for Application Server.

  6. For IBM OS V5R1 and subsequent OS releases, subsystem QUSRWRK will also be ended and restarted.
