The agent has the following software requirements:
Operating System
The agent machine must be running one of the following operating systems:
- Sun Solaris 2.6 or higher
- Microsoft Windows NT 4.0
- Microsoft Windows 2000
VigilEnt Security Manager
The agent requires VigilEnt Security Manager 3.0 (version 1.0 RS1) or a later version.
Firewall Modules
The Firewall must consist of a Check Point management module (or a Check Point CMA management module), version 4.X or later, that is managing at least one Check Point Firewall module, also version 4.X or later.
JRE
The agent uses the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to communicate with the VigilEnt Security Manager core. JRE version 1.3.1 is required for both Sun Solaris and Microsoft Windows NT/2000 installations. The installer automatically installs the JRE for your operating system.
