It is possible to have VigilEnt Security Agent for VPN-1/FireWall-1 located on the same machine with the CheckPoint Management Module and CheckPoint Firewall Module. This configuration does not require host authentication or impose a network bandwidth hit in scanning the firewall event stream. This configuration works only with installations that have a single firewall module. Please note the management module/firewall module machine must be running on Microsoft Windows NT/2000 or Sun Solaris.
