The placement of the license code does change between VigilEnt Password Manager for Oracle 5.0 and 6.0. The 5.0 license code is stored on the UNIX machine in the same directory as the "Password Server process". It is named "sqlcqr_license.data" and contains about seven rows of data. All license keys are sensitive to LINE-WRAPPING and HIDDEN RETURN characters.

The 6.0 license code is stored within the SQLCQR table for parameters (SQLCQR.SQLCQR_PARAMS). It is one very long line, starting with "SID=...." and ending with an encrypted value.
