To retrieve customizations for the Administration Site and User Site after applying a Service Pack in VigilEnt Policy Center:

1. Locate the Batch File
   1. Navigate to the Bin directory (by default, %\Program Files\PentaSafe\VigilEnt Policy Center\Bin).
   2. In the Bin directory, locate the following batch file:

      fix<version>.bat

      Where <version> corresponds to the most recent upgrade of VigilEnt Policy Center (for example, an upgrade to VigilEnt Policy Center (VPC) 2.1.6 would result in creating a batch file named fix216.bat).

2. Execute the Batch File
   1. Launch a command prompt.
   2. Change directories to the Bin directory within the command prompt.
   3. Execute the batch file by typing the name of the batch file located in Step 1:

      Example,
      fix216.bat

3. Restart the VigilEnt Policy Center Service
   1. If your computer is running Windows NT, start the Services application in Control Panel.
      1. Select the VigilEnt Policy Center service.
      2. Click Stop.
      3. Click Start.
      4. Click Close.
   2. If your computer is running Windows 2000, start the Services application in Administrative Tools.
      1. Right-click the VigilEnt Policy Center service.
      2. Select Restart.
      3. Close the Services application.
