The HTML Policy Editor provides a user-friendly format to create or edit an HTML-formatted policy document.  Use the following steps to edit a document using the HTML Policy Editor.

1. On the Policy Center tab, click New Policy. The Create a New Policy page is displayed.

2. Click Policy Editor. The Select An Editor page is displayed.

3. Click HTML Policy Editor, and click Submit. The HTML Editor page is displayed.

4. Type the title of the document in the Title field and the author?s name in the Author field.

5. Create the policy document using the available tools.

6. Optional. Click Edit HTML to view the policy document in HTML format, and click Save.

The HTML Editor contains a large area for typing text and a tool bar for editing the text. The tool bar buttons perform many functions common in other text programs such as Microsoft Word.
