Policy documents are very detailed and are sometimes similar in content and layout. To speed up the creation process, a customized policy document template can be created based on an existing draft policy document. Simply create one document and refer to it again when creating another.

Use the following steps to create a template:

1. On the Policy Center tab, click View/Edit Policy. The View/Edit Policy page is displayed.

2. On the Draft tab, click the document to use as a template.

3. Click Save. A verification message is displayed.

4. Click OK. VigilEnt Policy Center shows the selected file on the Template tab of the Policy Library.
