Unable to print a PDF file when using a Netscape 6.X browser.

cause
Some Adobe tools used for viewing PDF files include a plug-in that enables one to view these files from within Netscape 4.X browsers. However, this plug-in is not fully compatible with Netscape 6.X browsers.

fix

To print from the browser, follow these steps:

  1. Do not click File | Print to print a PDF file in the menu. This will not work.

  2. Instead, click the print icon on the Acrobat toolbar to print a file.
